Skint Proof explains how UK money rules work, in general. It isn't financial, tax or legal advice, and it doesn't take your circumstances into account. Before you make a decision, check the official source on gov.uk or speak to a qualified adviser.

Accuracy

We check our information against official sources and show the date we last checked it. Rules change, sometimes quickly, so we can't promise everything is complete or up to date at the moment you read it. If you spot a mistake, email hello@skintproof.co.uk.

Our tools

Our tools apply general rules to the answers you give. The results are a guide, not a decision about your tax. HMRC's own checkers and guidance on gov.uk are the official word.
