Who we are
Skint Proof is an independent, UK-based website. We're responsible for the information described here, which makes us the data controller. Contact us at hello@skintproof.co.uk.
What we collect
- Your email address, if you sign up for the Starter Pack or reminders. Our email provider also records when you signed up and confirmed, and whether our emails are opened or links clicked.
- Nothing from the tools. What you type into our tools stays in your browser. It isn't sent to us or stored anywhere.
- Basic server logs. Our host keeps short-term technical logs, including IP addresses, to run and secure the site.
Why we use it
- To send you the Starter Pack and deadline reminders, because you asked us to (your consent). You can withdraw it any time with the unsubscribe link in every email.
- To keep the site running and secure (our legitimate interests).
Who handles it for us
- Kit sends our emails and stores the email list.
- Netlify hosts this website.
These providers may process information outside the UK. They use legal safeguards for international transfers. We never sell your information or share it with advertisers.
How long we keep it
We keep your email address until you unsubscribe. After that, we delete it within 30 days, apart from a record that you unsubscribed, so we don't email you again.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your information, object to how we use it, or withdraw consent. Email hello@skintproof.co.uk. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Cookies
This site doesn't use cookies and doesn't store anything on your device. Our fonts are hosted on our own site, and we don't use third-party trackers. If you sign up through Kit's own form page, Kit's privacy policy applies to that page.
